J. KELLY BIOGRAPHY !

Entertainer Justin Kelly had always dreamed that one day he could use the talent to entertain people. The most important thing through the whole thing was not to forget the values that his mother instilled in him at an early age. The last few years have been rocky, to say the least. That has not stopped Justin, His dream has started to come true for him, beyond his expectations. Justin has come to terms with the successes and the failures. The only real way to deal with that is to avoid getting carried away and to recognize the obligation that he has to the people who helped put him at the point where he is today, His family and his fans, coming from a small town in Southern Louisiana, he learned that family is most important to him. He has one thing in mind all the time, especially now that he's moved from music to film then from acting to writing then now from writing to directing, to give back something in return. It is real easy to say, but harder to do, if you don't understand that's all right. 

To really understand you have to get inside Justin's head and play around in his world for a while. It's a thrill ride to say the least, " It's like a huge roller-coaster that's going about a hundred miles an hour straight down, then going into a humongous loop-t-loop, it's the best feeling in the world." That's not to say that Justin is different from everyone else, but, in the midst of his 39th birthday this year, he's about to start filming a new movie project while most other 38-year-olds are working at a job they hate or spending their spare time taking advantage of their misspent youth, entertainer Justin Kelly starting a record company at the age of 18. After a spell in Nashville in 1996, Kelly left the bright lights and half-truths of Music City behind him to return home to Louisiana and make his own luck. The Miami, Florida resident, but Louisiana born, made the trek to Nashville, TN But instead of finding fame and fortune, Kelly found heartache, thanks to fast talking executives. "Well, they were offering me a deal that I thought was good for me but I ended up Broke and in debt, The old additive that says 'if it seems too good to be true it probably is, 'is dead on." 

This devastating encounter did not do much to shine up the tarnished image the country capitol left in Kelly's mind. Disillusioned with the way the "big guns" ran the country music industry, he decided to do things his way. He started up his own label which went belly up soon after due to misrepresentation of funds and not enough know how and no help. Now, the industrious singer/songwriter/photographer can add actor, producer, screenwriter, and now director to the list of achievements. With the hopes he can get further by running the train than running behind it. He had a long hiatus from the music business to venture into the film business but "I'm back with a vengeance, and I hope this ride last longer" Says the Thirty-Something Entrepreneur. He believes in fate and destiny and that his time will eventually come if he works hard enough at it, but he also is keeping his options open for other careers.

"Even if I weren't singing or acting, I'd be producing different artists or directing movies and videos and different things in the entertainment business." Kelly said about the only thing that he could ever imagine doing outside the music industry would involve taking a walk out of the limelight and stepping into a kitchen. He got a culinary degree in 2004. But he's not planning a permanent career change just yet. While he relishes his favorite part of being a burgeoning entertainer, the fans, he also puts a high priority on helping others who are thinking about going at it on their own. "I hope to keep my name out there, but I'll always be open to help people who are out there where I've been to let them know it is possible. You just have to keep going, do what you do and do it the best you can. Don't let anybody knock you down. With any job that you have, there will always be someone there trying to tell you not to try. Don't listen to them, listen to your heart."

After a long stint away from music Industry, Justin is back after a 2010 major setback with his own music career. Heading into 2017 he went back to writing songs and being semi-back into the studio to begin working on a new project, after more setbacks he decided to sideline it again to jump head first into a film production and now that that film is written and being pitched around he can relax. As of January 2017 he is slowly getting back into music to record what should be the title cut for his next project on the horizon, "We Both Know" with more than a few songs on the film soundtrack for the musical film "Enough". Justin is also the middle of writing and scouting songs for the new album due out in 2018. But don't look for an album to drop any time soon, his schedule is doesn't leave any room at the moment to complete this project, but don't fret, the first single "The Lonely Nights" was released only on youtube and the title track will be released as a single soon. He's also doing a few projects on the Film & TV side which should move into Pre-Production in early 2018 and starts filming in late 2018 if everything goes to plan. 

He is spending quality time with his family and just being able to be with his friends and hang out. Justin is working on the Indie Drama "Runaway" which will be set in Louisiana and the first installment of a war/military saga "The Semper Fi Saga" which doesn't have a release date. Now with the summer of 2017 about to begin, he's writing and working on his album "We Both Know" to get the album complete and the film projects for 2018.

The album which will be called "We Both Know" will be a mix of up-tempo and ballads and should hit retailers in Late 2018.

in September 2016 Justin merged all of his companies, Film, Publishing, Photography, and of course Music into one Parent company called Kelly Entertainment Group in Late 2016 and Launched promotion and the Company in 2017. We have high hopes for this company in the coming years.
